Beginning in February 1996 with a performance of his acclaimed play "Bashing Lines", Jerry Rudasill has been a major force for independent theater in Philadelphia. A writer, director, and actor, Jerry and his Theater Group have produced well over a dozen theatrical productions in Pilam and many other venues throughout Philadelphia. Since the first performance of "Bashing Lines", Pilam has served as venue and rehearsal space for dozens of productions. Many writers and directors have chosen Pilam as the premiere venue in which to house their productions. The addition of a stage and lighting system in Pilam ensures that the tradition of Theatre will continue in Pilam for years to come! |
